# 5.7.3 Collectable

Kanon is a ***collectable***. Like a stamp collection, it encapsulates a moment in history, a hero, or an object worth commemorating or cherished by many. A Kanon Collection is designed to celebrate digital human knowledge and its evolution at the time of minting.
