# 8.2 Revenue Model

Subject to changes, Kanon Exchange makes money in two simple ways at the time of V1 launch:

* It charges and collects a platform fee of up to 2.5% on every trade changing hand on the platform.
* It also charges a service fee for various DeFi related transactions such as Atomic Split and NFT-to-DeFi vault.

Kanon Exchange will then add more revenue sources by adding other NFTs and games.
